Dear IAS Members,
Teachers and Senior Colleagues,
It is my pleasure and privilege to serve
IAS as Secretary from 2014 till March 2017. IAS is a premier
organisation of 2400 member strength known for its academic events and the
scientific excellence. We have planned an exhaustive scientific programmes through
out the Academic year 2014- 2017. We have introduced few new IAS
Cadaveric Courses, to name , Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Banglore,
Kolkatta , Indore , Pune, Hyderabad, Goa, Ahmedabad. These are in addition to
the popular and regular courses and IAS affiliated meetings. IAS
will soon have midterm meeting from these year.
Our Member’s Directory needs
upgrade . We are planning to come out with the new upgraded and informative online
member’s directory and IAS Coffey Book - with
the latest contact details and addition of all the new members. We are sending
emails requesting each member for online up gradation of membership
details of each IAS member.. Please spare few moments for filling the latest
details. To accomplish this task IAS has appointed IAS state
coordinators from various state of India with intention of having more
life member enrolled with IAS from each state.
We also plan to have the IAS App,
both the Android and iOs versions, so that IAS activities and information
are at your finger tips. Besides we are upgrading IAS Website, to
make it more interactive, easily assessable, and greatly informative.
Efforts are underway to get MCI Accreditation points
for all the IAS conducted courses, meetings and seminars. Also efforts on
way to make IAS- a medical educational charitable trust.
IAS also wants to start Journal of
Indian Arthroscopy (JIA) from year academic year 2015.
To accomplish this academic task IAS has
appointed few working committee in addition to very stable
and guiding Governing council of IAS in various departments
like technical, training, workshop, research, membership, and education.
I am very sure all my friends, seniors
and colleagues will support me in my mission for betterment of IAS.
