It was our pleasure to host one day IAS ONE CME on Knee Arthroscopy at Belagavi. The event was hosted by Belagavi Orthopaedic Surgeons Welfare Society (BOSS) under ages of Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS) in association with Karnataka Orthopaedic Association (KOA), Karnataka Arthroscopy Society (KAS), KAHER J N Medical College - Belagavi, USM-KLE IMP - Belagavi, Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences - Belagavi.
We would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Dr. S Arumugam, President IAS, Dr. Rajeev Raman, Secretary IOA & IAS, Dr. Sandeep R. Biraris, Past Secretary IAS for their support and guidance in making the event a grand success.
The IAS ONE Continuing Medical Education (CME) event was a resounding success, bringing together a vibrant community of medical professionals, students, and esteemed faculty members. The CME included 16 didactic lectures on basic knee arthroscopy, Panel discussion with 2 live surgeries and foster collaboration in clinical practice and research. Renowned National faculties, Dr. Sandeep R. Biraris demonstrated ACL reconstruction with quadriceps tendon graft and Dr. Nagraj Shetty demonstrated meniscus repair in the live surgeries. We had IAS Membership Drive at the event. We also got sanctioned 2 KMC credit hours for delegates and 3 KMC credit hours for the faculties by Karnataka Medical Council.
The programme was attended by enormous number of 162 delegates with eminent National faculties. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest Dr. Prabhakar B. Kore, Chairman KLE Society, Chancellor KAHER, Belagavi and Dr. S Arumugam delivered a wonderful Presidential talk followed which Dr. Sandeep R. Biraris encouraged young surgeons and post graduate students to choose Arthroscopy and become IAS member, continuing Dr. Sandeep R. Biraris said IAS is a major sub-speciality of IOA with highest members registered.
IAS ONE Belagavi chapter was hosted first time in North Karnataka territory and was Organised by Dr. Anil Patil, President KOA as Organising Chairman, Dr. M N Patil, President BOSS as Organising Co-Chiarman, Dr. Ajeet Hundekar and Dr. Murugesh Kurani Mahadev as Organising Secretaries.
IAS 2022 1st CME was held in Mangalore in AJ Medical college with lectures and three live surgeries. Thanks Dr Sudharshan Bhandary for coordinating with IAS and successfully conducted.Thanks to Dr IPS Oberoi. Dr Nagaraj Dr vivek pandey Dr Chirag and local Faculty for your time.It was also telecasted live in IAS you tube and Thanks Sandeep for coordinating.
